At NC Grange Mutual, we know that severe weather can strike at any moment. Preparing in advance is key to protecting your home and ensuring the safety of your family. Our comprehensive coverage plans are designed to give you peace of mind, but there are also practical steps you can take to minimize risks:

  1. Inspect Your Home: Regularly check your roof, windows, and doors for vulnerabilities that could be exacerbated by severe weather.
  2. Clear Loose Debris: Secure or remove items from your yard that could become projectiles in high winds, such as lawn furniture and tree branches.
  3. Emergency Kit: Assemble an emergency kit with essentials like water, non-perishable food, flashlights, batteries, and first aid supplies.
  4. Review Your Insurance Coverage: Ensure your insurance is up-to-date and covers the specific types of severe weather common in your area.

Remember, preparation is your first line of defense against the unpredictability of severe weather. We are here to help you stay prepared and protected. Contact an agent today to learn more about our policies and how you can enhance your home's readiness for severe weather.
